When Sophie was done singing, he gave her a slight clap.
But when Danielle was done singing, it was a stronger clap.

Far as I am concerned, he made his choice on how he clapped.

What is a hard jestered clap?

People really do read far too much into things

What I am saying is, with the clap he made on Danielle's performance, he did a much bigger clap.

He has good taste and knows a winner when he sees one, thats why he is so successful

He's very blatant in his favouritism. Always has been.

I suspect he does have a lot of influence if the winner goes on to bigger & better things.

I answered you the best I could. Prhaps my terminology wasn't a good choice!
I changed the wording!

I don't think he JUST showed his choice, I think he showed it a long time ago!

Did I say it made a difference? I just like judges to be impartial. I would have thought that many people would feel the same.

I think we tend to over-analyse things. It's natural when people become so engrossed in a show like this.

Anyway, I don't think Danielle was ALW's clear cut favourite tonight. I truly believe Sophie had grown on him (as she had on so many of us).

And I seriously doubt a more hearty round of applause from him for one girl after one performance would influence the vote!

Andrew was literally wiping sweat off his brow while Danielle did Mambo

Yes, but tonight's result was the viewers' choice.

i often use clapping as a sign of favouritism in my day to day routine... ALW just copied me

Who said anything about ALW's applause influenced the vote?

All I was suggesting, he showed his choice when he clapped for each.

I thought it was obvious that he wanted Danielle?

I don't think ALW influenced the vote with his clap, if anything I would've thought the bias shown Danielle's way could have hindered her winning. Obviously not.

ALW chose his winner A LONG TIME AGO!

I don't think he ever really liked Sophie for Dorothy and I felt really bad for her tonight when no one said anything to her at the end of the show.

She looked quite gutted that the judges didn't really praise her performance of Tomorrow either. Yes they said she's grown blah, blah but no WOW comments, I think she knew she wasn't going to win. She looked less nervous than Danielle because she'd resigned herself to it I think.
