It was always clear that ALW wantted Danielle - but tonight was in the hands of the public and they showed that they too preferred Danielle - they voted with their phone bills; can't argue with that.

Danielle was never my 1st choice - but she shows immense potential.

That ALW should be allowed to clap whatever way he likes without it being scrutinised.

I think the point is that ALW shouldn't be showing that he favours one girl over another at all. He should at least try to appear impartial.

I don't think him clapping more shows anything, it is Andrew we are talking about, half the time he looks bored stiff during performances then comes out with a nice comment - the man is confusing, who knows what he is thinking

ALW looked terrified that Sophie might win.

I thought it odd that praise was heaped on Danielle for belting out 76 Trombones while marching around and yet Lauren danced all the way through "I Could Have Danced All Night" but didn't get a mention from the panel or ALW.

I can never read ALW's face, he mostly looks constipated to me. Yes he did favour Danielle but I don't think he would have been that upset if Sophie won, he sees the votes of the poll every week and realises how much the GBP love her and will come to see her. Lauren's final note was always going to be the major topic of conversation from the Judges.
