I've just congratulated Danielle on the AT.

I have to say I'm very happy to see a Danielle fan started this thread. Danielle and Sophie were both fantastic tonight. I'm gutted for Sophie but she's going to do really well for herself now. She will be happy with her acheivment I'm sure of that, even though she wont be thinking like that right now.

Brilliant performances Sophie - you confirmed that you had the best MT voice in this competition!! We came second in our preference (again) - the only one we got right was Lee Mead! At least our favourite Toto came in (D. Dave)

Sophie was best by some way we felt tonight, but there you go. Best wishes for the future!!

Well done Sophie! A wonderful voice and she really acted in her performances tonight more than ever before. She would have been a worthy winner, but luckily, so is Danielle.

I had no particular favourite tonight, I waited to vote after I'd heard both "Over The Rainbow" renditions. Sophie (in my opinion, of course) sang it way better so she got my vote. I can see why Danielle won, stage acting, obvious 'look' etc and I'm pleased for her. But based purely on "Over The Rainbow" I would have paid to have seen Sophie in the theatre.

Such a shame! But I'll be surprised if Sophie doesn't appear as Dorothy at some point.

Sophie was easily my favourite right from the start but I certainly did expect her to make the final.

Thank you Sophie for the exciting journey (so far!).

Yes well done to the lovely Sophie. I can't say anything negative about her. I think Reflection from this evening was the best performance of the entire series, as some other FMs have said, I actually shed a little tear. It was just beautiful. She's so engaging, I think with some training and guidance she could be phenomenal.

I'll be following her career, I hope she makes it big. I bet Tonypandy is so proud of her.

I thought Sophie gave it a really really good go.
Her OTR was arguabley as good as Danielle's.Reflection was absolutely superb.
She looks great, the camera does love her and she has a natural singing voice. So why did'nt she win.

I got the feeling she did'nt think she could. She must have been as aware as everyone that Danielle was the favourite

I the end I got the feeling that she was glad it was all over.Like it was a simply a matter of process.

Did the public sense that to.

Or was it simply that apart from a few floating or first time voters, most had already made up their mind.No doubt influenced by everything that had gone before.

Here again we are back to the manipulation theory and that the Lord always tends to get the performer he wants.

This is not sour grapes by the way.Danielle is a very talented and gifted artist. But these inquests always happen. Its customary.

After Sophie's OTR, I said to myself, 'beat that Danielle'; as Charlotte implied the song suited Sophie's voice down to the ground. Its her version that should be on the charity single.

Unfortunately Danielle was nowhere near, very scratchy, with nothing left for the final notes, she actually made a better fist of it the second time around. Don't think Danielle has a good enough voice for true musical theatre, she'll probably end up as an actress. People who go to WoOz to hear the signature song may well be disappointed.
