Why did all the other girls get their 5 mins of fame and a comment from ALW, where she got absolutely nothing?????????????????????????????

Thats exactly what i think, i know i am a Sophie fan so people will expect me to be bitter. But im not. I am however cross that sophie didnt get so much as a well done from ALW or a chat with him or anything. Its a little bit off :s

Haha it doesn't matter. It was Danielle's moment really and Sophie was gracious in knowing that. I'll always be a Sophie Evans supporter when she's on that stage one day

She ran off stage to see her family before anything could be said. Her own fault.

Because she ran off the stage towards her family.....Graham tried to stop her and then thought better of it I think and let her go.

I thought it was because she ran off to her family.

I see your point but Danielle was the winner and it was her moment. Sophie should have got a little something but to be fair she did run off before anybody could say anything to her. Adorable - I would have loved to see her as Dorothy but at least this saves me money on Wizard of Oz tickets!

They do it every year, same happened with Jessie and when Jodie sang ALAHNM Jessie could be heard sobbing.

Poor Sophie, at least a moment to say thanks etc would've been nice.

I think the same thing happened with Jessie last year, I think that's just what happens sadly. Graham tried to give her her moment but ultimately it was Danielle's time.

it was the final - like any reality show you name it, x factor, strictly the winner gets the last song or dance and the runner up does not. it would be completely dumb to take away the winners moment having to stand their and let the runner up sing or dance.

The end always seems to be rushed on these sorts of shows.

I'd like to have heard from Sophie too.

It happened with Jessie too, I remember thinking oh, no well done?

They pad these things so the runner up gets about three seconds for themselves. She ran off in her three seconds. But then she got a whole show to sing and show off her personality, so she didn't lost out.

it's not so bad then if that's what usually happens, it's the first ALW show i've watched. Just thought that all the girls had been given the 'i've got your number' or 'you'll go far' etc etc and Sophie had been missed out but fair enough if that's the norm....

At least Sophie looked more composed than Jessie did while waiting - I remember watching her sweating and thinking "just say the name!" And she was SO upset immediately afterwards while Jodie was hyperventilating all over the place

Anyway - you'll get your moment, Sophie - taking your well-deserved curtain call on a West End stage. Maybe after a bit more training, but I'm sure you'll get there.

It was done this way on all three previous shows--Helena on Maria, Keith on ADWD and Jessie on IDA all just got a short applause and then went into the audience with their families.

yes and they did the same with Keith Jack, sometimes i think being runner up is the worst thing.
Ihope to see Sophie star in something soon,i have seen Keith Jack 3 times since he was second in Joseph, and would go to see jesse if i had the opportunity to do so

As the past competitions have gone 2nd place just gets a hail and clap from the audience after Graham stands next to them and then they leave.

But they usually get a shot of them while the winner is singing and they didn't do that this time which bugged me. I would've like to see one last shot of her before the end.

That's what happens on all of these shows.

The runner up always gets the bums rush - pushed off as quickly as possible so the panel can gush over the winner and he/she can do the show number again.

Its almost better to come 3rd or even 4th on these shows - at least you get your

So long, farewell....
Close every door....
As long as he needs me....
Over the Rainbow ....moment

The runner up doesn't even get that - although Sophie did get to keep her shoes......

Yeah, coming second is terrible. All the other girls got their 'moon moment' or the 'hot air balloon moment' but Sophie got nothing. I know it's the winner's moment but even on X-Factor the runner up gets a 'I'd like to thank my family' moment before being hurried off. I thought Graham was calling her over for a few words but he just rushed her over to her family anyway! It would have been nice to have ALW say a few words to her "you didn't win tonight but you'll go far, blah blah" but no such luck.

To me it looked as if she just ran off the stage.
