I think I have 3 favourites:

1. Reflection - tonight's performance - Sophie
2. The Man That Got Away - Lauren
3. Nobody Does It Better - Stephanie

If your favourite does'nt win its always difficult to be objective. But,I think the three best performances were by the three finalists
Mambo Italiano for Danielle convinced everyone she could win.
Reflection for Sophie convinced everyone she had arrived.

Nobody Knows for Lauren convinced everyone she had the best singing voice in the competition
but just to make sure she gave you Run,The Man that got Away and Sway for good measure.

I thought the man that got away was a power house performance, which because it was so introspective and dark got lost in the glare of Mambo Italiano.

And yes,I thought it was better than Jessie's version.

Popular by a country mile. Mainly because it allowed us to see what the girls could do when not constrained by slaggy/vacuous pop nonsense (omg, I've turned into Sheila...)

I Could Have Danced All Night was pretty damn storming too, and I was never a Lauren fan (see the mighty monkseal's comments on line-by-line acting for a better explanation of why I didn't love her than I could ever come up with myself).

For 100% commitment, I liked Jessica's Cabaret; for actually getting the tone of the song right, I think Sophie's Gonna Wash That Man was overlooked - it was one of the performances of the series but had the bad luck to be right before THE performance, combined with Steph taking her direction a bit too seriously; Mambo - the first time - was a blessed relief as I thought people finally had a chance to see what I could see in Danielle.

I don't think it was a classic, but Jenny did a lot better with the Clowns than she could have been expected to do. And Bronte was pretty much spot on with what she was given - the only real 'shock' result, IMHO. Erm... who am I forgetting?? I know there's someone...

There's one other truly, outstandingly memorable performance that I've you-tubed quite a bit, but it's for all the wrong reasons and I don't want to be bitchy on final night so I won't single out the girl involved... No, sorry, I am a bitch, I can't resist saying that I did NOT have fun.

My top performance was

Steph - Oh So Quiet

Followed closely by

Lauren - The Man That Got Away
Sophie - Reflection

Jenny - So What. I despise the song but it had such massive potential to be a total disaster (like Get the Party Started for Keisha in IDA) and she totally nailed it. Really great and unexpected.

Performance of the series was Steph vs. Lauren sing-off.

Mambo Italiano & Reflection were both great last night.

1) Mambo Italiano,
2) Oh So Quiet
3) Popular

Nobody Knows would be number 4.

I've never been that impressed by Reflection, its a good performance but I always think Lauren would nail it better.

Individual
1. Mambo Italiano (this blew me away first time and was just as good second time around)
2. Oh so quiet (thought Steph did this brilliantly and would have made a very convincing Dorothy)
3. Cabaret (had been disappointed by Jess before this, particularly as she was my favourite post-audition, but this showed how good an actress she is)

Group
1. Anything you can do / Broken heels (favourite mash of the series)
2. Popular (so well acted, well sung, well everything)
3. Oklahoma (preferred the Calamity Jane songs but the four girls really rose to the occasion and out performed the other group)

Lauren's the Man that got away and I could have danced all night (also really liked Nobody knows, but those two were better)
Sophie's reflection
Steph's It's oh so quiet
Danielle's Mambo Italiano
Jessica's Cabaret and Mary Poppins number

...I'm easily pleased

Group:

The Deadwood stage
I really liked the Dorothy's empire state of mind
Money/Material girl
The Trolley song
