Of course Cheryl can sing. I think a lot of people still mis-use "<insert artist name> can't sing>" for the fact they simply don't like the artist's voice or music.
I'm not disputing her vocals have been slightly ropey over the weekend. Singers will not be perfect every time.

While I agree that Britney is a great vocalist, I'd just like to point out that it's not her (or any artist usually) who actually use the autotune or autopitch techniques.
Sometimes producers just want everything to be spot on perfect and just see the vocal as another instrument (which I guess it is).
Often guitars etc are "autotuned" and tidied up but nobody ever mentions that. Nobody ever brings up the fact some bands don't actually play the instruments on record at all and let pro-tools do the work. Why should singers get all the flack?
