I reckon Dani, possibly Bronte.
Having said that because felt the need to go on about how Steph wasn't suited to the part it'll probably be her. I mean he picked Sarah to be understudy for Nancy, another contestant who was apparently 'wrong for the role'.

I think you will find that, if the contract with the BBC has not changed, none of the final 11 are allowed to take the part in a named capacity (i.e. alternate) for 6 months after opening. Not sure about understudy.

Steph was 4th, I'll bet like all other 4th places she's on a west end stage first out of the runners up.
Sarah was Cameron Mackintosh's pick not ALW'S.

Sarah was in Oliver from it opened but she wasn't in a named role and was understudy.

Spot the Sarah (the reliable person who becomes the understudy), the successor (is age an issue in a year or 18 months time?) the Niamh destined for another ALW pet purpose, the soprano for some other existing role, the one Cameron, Tim or Trevor wants and the ones Bill Kenwright wants or David Ian likes?
Then thow in who has impressed the right Americans and look out for a Rachel emerging .........

Not sure about the Sarah, the Niamh is Lauren I think, Dani will be the one Cameron wants (as I said in another thread the youngest contestant on each show has ended up in Les Mis). David Ian, I reckon Jenny just because I think she'd be great in Grease. Are will limiting Bill Kenwright to one?!! I think he'll cast Stephanie and Amy.

Lots of his roles are soprano torture though - not sure if she can do Phantom or something like that. Someone with a better ear might be able to say how Lauren and Niamh compare and if Lauren could play Christine. I imagine someone older would get Love Never dies at the cast change if its still going?
