Seven of nine from Star Trek Voyager?

Since Seven of Nine wasn't reptilian, no. Though the Silurian bird did name equally noticeable boobs. I mention this purely in passing and to press home the point that reptiles do not have mammary glands! Very poor piece of design work, there.

No .Reminded me more of one of the characters in the musical Cats .Alaya seemed more feline than reptilian and definately overacted . I think they overdid the Beauty thing as all i could focus on was her eyes and teeth and they were totally human

Yeah .Its a real bugbear .Im equally annoyed about the design faults in the Silurians as its like they didnt think about their eyes , hands and faces Or even body shape and as for boobs , Anna has them in V but she lays eggs , thousands of them to reproduce .

Apart from not knowing what path evolution could take in several hundred million years (after all, if they are Silurians, amphibians hadn't even left the sea then), the biggest mistake was giving an age of 300Ma when the Silurian period was from 446-416Ma ago.

The original Silurians may have looked a bit odd, but they were believable. The latest version looks more like a generic Star Trek alien than a real Earth reptile.

I thought it a little strange that the Silurian had a Scottish accent, despite living underneath Wales.

Why? My next door neighbour has a Scottish accent despite living in Suffolk.

I dont think they were ever named after the geological period - though it is an interesting co-incidence that the Silurian period was named after the Silures tirbe who lived in the area where the rocks were first studied in detail - that area being central Wales.

The Silurians are misnamed-but that was actually pointed out in 'The Sea Devils' in 1972. The Doctor then claimed he should have called them 'Eocenes', which was also wrong.

Believable? Seriously? They've always looked like people in rubber suits to me.


Perhaps the Doctor is right and we're the one's who are wrong, after all, he probably has first hand information.

Most mammals don't have boob shaped boobs either - they're some kind of evolutionary thing.

Maybe female silurians needed boob shaped chests as well for some reason!

A race that has been buried underground for millions of years I think would be kind of wobbly and not very graceful, but still have this imposing presence.

Of course her fab pair of funbags might not be for producing milk - or entertaining dad on the sofa - so who knows what other secrets her cleavage might hold.
