surely all the girls didn't have the same size feet

gong by the look of her feet and the size of the shoe they did not lol......they did not fit.

Someone said on DS that they had a few versions made but I don't know, sounds about right though

Probably went with the best option, maybe it was a good thing Lauren didn't get through to the last two she would have had awful trouble getting down those stairs in shoes that fit Sophie as well.

They were probably the size of the the largest of the girl's & just had insoles... though obviously they were still a little too big for Danielle!

He probably was supposed to present them but she kind of grabbed them. With that and Sophie running off, the ending seemed a bit messy lol!

I was there last night and we thought the same thing about the shoes. they didnt change them at all so was only one pair that had to fit any of the three girls. As soon as danielle got off the basket she took them straight off and was walkin around holding them

They were clearly made to fit the largest shoe size of all the girls- Danielle looked like she was walking in mummy's shoes- they were deffo at least a full size too big for her

yes but ALW carried on sitting like a sack, so she grabbed them. good on her!

I read somewhere they were a size 6 as that was the average of the girls' sizes! I think I also read that Danielle is a 5 so they were a size too big for her.

That would explain it then She did look a little wary walking up the stairs in them for the first time!

I don't get this at all! With the wonders of modern technology surely they could have surreptitiously replaced them for ones that fit after votes had been counted........? !

I don't think they did fit her very well - they looked huge. At the end of the day, the winner only had to walk over to the hot air balloon. Wasn't necessary for them to fit perfectly.

When I sat in the audience with my family, the warm up comedian bloke made some comment about that and then he told us that they take an average shoe size of the girls and which was around a 6 or something like that

It would have been a pretty huge bad omen if the winner had fallen over on her walk to the balloon because the shoes were too big (i'd have probably found it hilarious though).

It's better that the were too big than too small. Imagine trying to walk around in shoes with your heels hanging out the back.

Danielle just said on BBC breakfast that they did take an average of all the girls shoe sizes which was 4, but she is a size 6! Oww!

She didn't really have to wear them for long though, did she? She could have kicked them off once she was in the basket!

You'd think they could've stretched to making a pair of shoes each for the finalists.

Saying that, if they'd given Danielle a pair of shoes that fit her perfectly the conspirators would all be shouting FIX!

That seems really odd to me, purely because the shoes looked huge and she didn't seem to struggle to fit her feet into them.
