And no, I don't think she'll have a pop career because she's not a pop artist - she's a Musical Theatre performer. A bloody good one and all, as the majority of voters know. ”

I recorded the results show and have just watched it again - she was definitely bright and giggly, couldn't stop smiling, and I was smiling and giggling along with her

You lucky sod, I love Fleetwood Mac, I'd said they were a rock band.

You must be the only person on here who hasn't seen me dive down someone's throat for referring to it as an Eva Cassidy song. Apart from the original Fleetwood Mac the only other version I've ever liked was Jenny's, she reminds me of a young Christine McVey.

Why should she waste her time on a pop career when acting is her biggest strength ?

She doesn't want to be a pop singer anyway. Like Charlotte said, she is suited to a career in MT.

I've seen FM live a few times - they're awesome - I agree, they are a rock band. Christine sang 'Songbird' as an encore each time - the concerts were very 'rocky' then right at the end it was just her playing the piano and singing the song - I bawled my eyes out on each occasion!

I don't think so, her performances are so strong because of her acting. I think Amy, Steph and possibly Lauren could have pop careers though. Maybe Stephanie as well, she had one of the more distinctive voices.

I wouldn't call the Pink song a rock song...pop rock at best imo.

I could see Steph and Amy having pop career, although they'd both also be fab in MT. Jenny I could see having a pop career maybe, or being in a poppier musical like Mamma mia or something.

I didn't mean instead of an MT career, just as well as. I think Danielle's the only one who'll get the opportunity, only the winners have that platform.

I just realised today who Danielle reminds me of - Lee Mead. Now he's primarily a MT performer, and a bloody good one I hear, but his album are quite poppy. I think Danielle has the added bonus of being seen as young and cool.

I'm so jealous.
