Stephanie leaving way too early.
Yeah Stephanie was my second choice after Danielle and then it was Sophie third. So not too bad for me

Stephanie leaving early! One thing I don't like about these shows is they always have to have a shock exit

Emilie - just in general, hated her from day one

I will echo lots of people about Bronte going too early.

Not seeing enough acting all the way through the series.

The 'mash-ups' - which could have been a fun edition to a slightly worn format - ending up as tedious and half-hearted medlies (medleys? what is the plural of medley?)

Emilie being the wildcard. I feel sorry for her but it was a missed opportunity to see one of a handful of the rejected ones who could have been a good performer if not a real contender (for instance I would have liked to see more of Camille or maybe Tegan - although I think the latter would have got the Lauren treatment in her VTs!)

Charlotte calling Lauren arrogant. However she meant it, I think she sowed a seed in the audience's mind which Lauren couldn't shake off, however unfounded the accusation and however brilliant her performances.

Bronte going far too early. I'm still shocked at the week 2 bottom two in all honesty, it seemed more like a week 4/5/6 "shock bottom two" than a week 2 "er, anyone remember anything positive about these two? Or anything at all?" one.

Not realising earlier that yes, ALW has favourites and yes, he is probably going to try to manipulate things but that really, someone who supports his girl in the final by giving her "76 trombones" isn't exactly a master manipulator. Toto's probably better at manipulation than ALW is, and he's a fictional dog.

Biggest regrets:

1) Not seeing Graham wear Gingham
2) Seeing Bronte and Stephanie go out too early
3) Wishing Mary Poppins was being cast somewhere for Lauren to shine
4) Wondering why i never persued a MT career myself
5) Thinking about how awesome Charlotte C would have been as Dot

Emilie being the wildcard. How I would have loved Camille or Claire Harbourne (not that Claire).

Dani going out too early. She would have been really lovely in the role. Lovely actress, great voice - movement needed shedloads of work, but there was time

Likewise Bronte - I wasn't quite convinced by her as an actress, but she had so little time to show what she could do

Lauren not being a better actress. Otherwise she would have been the strongest contestant ever seen on these shows.

My biggest regret is not sending Danielle a letter or card.... I mean after the crazy amount of voting you would have thought I would have sent her a card but I haven't..... and I really want to .... but I feel weird doing it...... and now I may not be able to write to her at all.... because I don't know where to address it to ....

Jenny's first performance... It took weeks to forgive whoever came up with that song! Thankfully, Songbird helped secure her place as second favourite

Another regret: Not joining this forum until today...

My biggest regret is not picking up the phone to vote for Stephanie
I voted for her 5 times the week she went - it was the first time I'd voted in the series at all, but she still went. The only other time I voted was several times for Sophie in the final and of course she went too. Perhaps I should regret picking up the phone, maybe I cursed them!

Lol! Aww poor forgotten Claire Harbourne. I thought she was great!
I liked her, especially in 'Rain on your parade', they were all great in that, they should have put all four through.

Bronte and Stephanie going way too early.

Emilie being the wild card, should've been Tasheka, Claire H or Katie.

Oh so many ...

- the continued insistence on having the girls sing pop songs. Surely the success of Glee has shown the BBC that us idiots watching TV can appreciate musical theatre

- that Danielle won. Nice girl, just didn't see the star quality that the judges (and clearly the majority of the voters) did

- that I didn't vote for Lauren in the final weekend

- that Bronte and Stephanie went way too early
