Again, I think the right girl was chosen for the part;
But ...
but...
so many of the other girls showed tremendous strengths and I am pretty sure that if we check up with them in a year's time we will find that 100% of them have acquired agents, been auditioned, got fantastic roles or have been offered free stage school training.
There are so many musicals out there - so many roles, I just don't see this lot - so much more talented overall than the "Marias" or the "Nancys" - sliding back into anonymity.
Even the first girl to leave the competition had two alternative roles suggested to her by ALW!! Jessica is marked out for future "Funny Girl" roles.
So why can't we all be pleased with Danielle's success and wish all 12 runners up (including the "wild card" whose voice I just can't forget, it's so warm and true in tone) the best of luck with their future careers?

Seriously though, I wish them all well and I'm sure they all have a great future ahead.
