Congratulations to Danielle - and to the 12 runners up

Again, I think the right girl was chosen for the part;

But ...
but...

so many of the other girls showed tremendous strengths and I am pretty sure that if we check up with them in a year's time we will find that 100% of them have acquired agents, been auditioned, got fantastic roles or have been offered free stage school training.

There are so many musicals out there - so many roles, I just don't see this lot - so much more talented overall than the "Marias" or the "Nancys" - sliding back into anonymity.

Even the first girl to leave the competition had two alternative roles suggested to her by ALW!! Jessica is marked out for future "Funny Girl" roles.

So why can't we all be pleased with Danielle's success and wish all 12 runners up (including the "wild card" whose voice I just can't forget, it's so warm and true in tone) the best of luck with their future careers?

Ten runners-up.

The other two must have been non-starters.

12 runners up? There were only 11 girls including Danielle.

But yes, good luck to them all.

Ah,my "thick finger" - or I am "fick" cos Emilie came in as wild card and for a moment I may have thought she made it a baker's dozen.

So that makes me "fick" den.

Good luck to the lot of them. I loved a great many, and didnt decide on a favourite for a looong time because they were all brilliant.

But,

Agreed
I am happy for Danielle, personally I didn't really mind who won when it came down to her and Sophie. Lauren had the best voice, but wasn't right for the part IMO.
All 11 girls are talented and nice girls, which is refreshing. Usually there is atleast one bitch Seriously though, I wish them all well and I'm sure they all have a great future ahead.
