what about putting bubble in for the whole series, denying him any results from the football and also hiding his hats.

One of the HMs is an actor who is never up for nomination, (obviously, the HMs haven't a clue). Oh, just think of the evil that can be wrought in the house by this. No need to send any HMs in to stir things up, if a HM walks, send another actor in.
