People reveals all...apparently

Just seen on Sky News previews of tomorrow's papers:
The People has info on the contestants. More or less stuff
we've already heard (stripper, prostitute, 2 lesbians, etc),
but also there will be punishments including manure, cream
and contestants being on leashes like dogs .

Hmm, where does that last part sound familiar from?

Martin.

It seems a bit inappropriate in the present climate to have people on leashes ( when is it ever appropriate )...I cant see them doing that!

At least I hope I cant

Just some more on this: Sky showed a couple of layouts from within the paper but I only caught the second on video. The first had the stuff about Evil BB's cruel punishments, and the second had the following headlines:

BIG STRIPPER
Plus a gay, bisexual, a flirt (), sex kitten ( ), an asylum seeker & 2 lesbians.

Interesting....

Without wishing to be libelous... I'd suggest people wait until DS:BB gives you official word on the series next week

Nah, the more the merrier BB needs more sex kittens...

Could this reveal mean that these housemates could be scrapped and replaced with other choices that will be kept secret until Fridays Launch show?

Remember that "What Jade Did Next" programme that showed a reconstruction with a Goody lookalike being rushed out of the dentist practice she used to work in and wisked away to a secret location earlier than usual because the press had found out due to her big mouth that she was picked for BB3. The voiceover Phil Edgar-Jones [i think] said that all housemates IDs had to remain secret and if they were announced in the papers before the series began then they would not be allowed to enter the house, their chances would be blown.

Yeah they always have the rule that if your identity is broken you are aborted and they find new people... i know they don't have pics or names but would this still apply??

Amoungst everything it sounds like i'm gonna be watching a freakshow (not meaning to cause offence to anyone ) i hope not, but it feels like they are going over the top this year, i may end up watching less and less this year....

Here is a link to the internet version article of this story.

If this is true, I will not be watching most likely because it means that every contestant will be fame grabbing and will be some of the worst TV in years. I don't want to see them having to be shamed with cream, manure etc - I want them to be put in a house for the 10 weeks, and left to their own devices.

BB are trying too hard to compensate for the disaster that was last year.

Every year we have the same speculation with the HMs, rest assured the 'HMs' identified in The People will not be the same as what we see on Friday.

I don't know why The People think the people () want to know who the housemates are. I certainly don't. I like not knowing until they go in the house - one of the best bits is meeting 12 new people on the Friday.

If these are the real HMs then this summer should be action packed

It sounds like it's turning into Get Me Out Of Here! and Fear Factor. I hope it doesn't - this is Big Brother incase they've forgotten and it's worked brilliantly without all of this for the first three years.

The leashes would explain the 'Bondage' Black Friday ad that's been showing on C4 as of late

Yes, they are missing the point of BB.

They are trying to hide the fact they picked bad HMs by using all these new gimmicks.

One or two gimmicks is fine, butif they just pick better HMs, it would be better for the show.

No to leashes - I can't seriously think that this would be acceptable - the other stuff smacks of medieval England and the stocks...

- the line up doesn't really interest me either - I would expect they have most of the final 50 on standby "just in case" - the "first" group will have been warned that any leaks mean they're out -

And let's not go down the route of pigeonholing of HMs like this, thank you Endemol,
- can't we make our own minds up about sex kittens, leaders and peacemakers??? (you just *know* that the filming would be geared around bolstering up stereotypes rather than showing human beings as they really are)
