Did anyone notice how the clothes improved
as the series went on? At the beginning, when there were 11 girls, the outfits were a bit of a Primark nightmare (not being snotty about Primark as I shop there with regularity
) but as there were fewer girls left in the competition the clothes really improved. I don't know if designers or clothes outlets took pity on the girls or, having fewer numbers, the programme makers were able to spend more cash. Lauren's dress for 'I could have danced all night' was stunning, as was Sophies when she sang 'Reflection' (both in the semi and the final). Also, I wonder if all the girls were able to keep the beautiful shoes after Saturday? |

Nope they didn't get to keep the shoes as they were so expensive and I think BBC were very tight on their budget... I mean taking an average of the girls shoe sizes for the ruby slippers.........

But according to ALW blog site they were worth £2500, covered in Swarovski crystals, and they wouldn't have known what to do with 4 pairs at the end. Does Danielle get to keep them, pity they don't fit if she does.

but any sane person would have just chosen the biggest size.... i mean worst comes to worst its way too big for them... but if its small for them its worse... I am not sure if she gets to keep them... I doubt it ... I think they should auction all the shoes off... and split it between the 2 charities

Surely they'll invest in some shoes that are the right size for Danielle to wear during all her performances in the Wizard of Oz? They can't make her squeeze into size 4 shoes 8 times a week, that's harsh

It's funny that the clothes improved the same night they dropped the colour themes for Danielle, Lauren & Sophie...

I hadn't noticed that they had dropped them
I guess it was because Danielle was still in Red

True although it looked good on her - her Mambo Italiano dress was lovely
![]() Although I would pay good money for Danielle's On My Own dress, that was gorgeous. That and Jenny's Send In The Clown's dress! |
