Yes a 'young' Fulton Mackay (still with greyish hair). Must be long before Porridge and Fraggle Rock!

We should also mention the marvelous Paul Darrow, at this point.

Sometime this evening I will be watching Episodes 3 and 4 of The Time Warrior.

Went mad last week on a visit to the UK and picked up Torchwood Children of Earth, Tennants Specials and 11 DVDs from the Jon Pertwee / Tom Baker era. If I like them I'll go mad again next time I visit

Edit, I've watched them before but that was 35 years ago and I don't remember them

I will. I loved them at the time but 35ish years has removed the plots from my memory. For some reason Planet of the Spiders, which you mentioned earlier in the thread, is one that made a larger imprint as I've always remembered some scenes but I don't know why yet.

It's been sad, because I like Jon Pertwee (I'm one of these strange people who watches Dr Who stories and thinks that the Doctor in that particular story is the best ever. I cried my eyes out
Spoiler
how could Jon Pertwee leave
.

I might get some of the ones you mentioned. I don't know all classic Who (Sylvester McCoy was my Doctor), but I intend to see them all.

At the moment I'm trying to get through series 1-5 of nu-who. But in between have been indulging in William Hartnell's stories. I just love those cavemen in An Unearthly Child

I do love "An Uneartly Child". Great beginning to a great series.

I hope you mean the 10th Doctor's last episodes and not that horrible scottish beer Tennent's Special.
Just watched Pertwee's first 2 episodes, splendid.

How dare you. Although I do not support SM's blatant agenda to Scotchify all things English on Doctor Who (I'm kidding of course), Tennant's Special is a lovely refreshing beer, which I have enjoyed many times in my garden. In contrast, I never enjoyed David Tennant in my garden (I had to switch on the TV for that (in the lounge I hasten to add).

I was wondering if I should put the brackets somewhere else to make the sentence more exciting, but alas I have to stay close to the truth. **feel free to change my sentence to find some justification for your cool drink**

Just finished watching Keeper of Traken.Surprised me how much I enjoyed it now,I remember it being terribly boring but no found it very engaging and I actually liked Adric! (course I could be coming down with something )

The kids actually liked it too (they hated Leisure Hive,Meglos and Full Circle, wern't keen on Warriors Gate but really liked State of Decay) so we're moving on to Logopolis now...loving the summer hols

At the time I thought Keeper was a step up from anything previously in the series, though that could be because of the Master's return rather than the merits of the story itself.
