Trouble is my nan isn't alive any more to hold my hand. Come to think of it she was more scared than me.
(She loved Doctor Who and watched it even when I wasn't visiting. She told me the Doctor used to look completely different and his body can change. I was really intrigued so loved it when JP turned into TB and I saw what she meant.) Of course, were the spiders to be return, they'd be rendered in all their realistic, cgi, foul glory. And that really would be too much to watch -- leaping up on people's back and all that. I shudder just to think of it. |

Yes, I suppose the original Predator film with Arnie is the ultimate example of this....
It was a good call from DavyBoy7472 to mention this idea (invisible menace) as there are so many examples of it and they all seem to work ![]() |

I got a good old scare last week with the shots in the cemetary in the dark. It was mostly a camera work as we hadn't seen much. And that's what works best for me anyway, when you don't know yet what to expect.

Incidentally, would a dalek be immune to the angels. To an angel its just a small tank.

The humans in Midnight, easily. The human race under pressure often far more frightening than the most scary looking alien creatures could ever be....
