I think the main problem was their unwillingness to take him at all seriously seeing as he looks more like a 13 year-old rather than 16. He doesn't even look as if he has started puberty yet.
It is sad that regardless over whatever he has up there (*taps his head*) he is going to be judged on appearence.
I think this is the first time I have agreed with the sacking yet had the utmost sympathy for the sacked.
He was always going to be a dead man walking from the start.”
Rhys is anything but 'dead man walking' material. He's the most astute, besides Arjun, that the whole team probably clocked on to. They all live together don't forget.
That said, Tim and Hannah are pretty sly and ruthless in their own ways and most likely wanted him to fall on his arse. But Rhys himself also thought that he could outmanouvere them by doing zilch and then pulling the 'they set me up' card. Whereas if he'd pulled along with Kirsty and at least tried to get some sales and act like a project manager, he could have saved himself. But instead he was going along the 'thought line....or political line' and thought he could win in the boardroom.
That said, he could have. But it just so happens that LA decided to give Tim yet another chance. Tough luck for Rhys that he got only one....but he still blew it for himself when he could have so easily have won it had he applied himself the way he did in the boardroom, but also if he gave at least half a shit in the task.
