Interesting clip. Let's just hope an Androgum doesn't make a surprise appearance...

Nice clip. The two doctors seem to be quite prevalent on here today.

Did anyone else wonder if Matt and Karen were deliberately being nice so as not to upset the children? And off camera they throw the food away. I'm not saying this happened, i'm just relaying it as a possible outcome.

And I was also disgusted when they told us what the Doctors favourite dish was, I expected them to say Fish Custard, which it clearly is.

There looked nothing wrong with the food - I certainly would have eaten it. The joy on the kids faces when KG and MS where bigging them up was lovely to watch.

It did look good, that was just a suggestion of what might have happened though.

Matt seems to have quite a good way with kids, he can talk to them without seeming to patronise them, theres a bit of a knack to that.

I was thinking this. They both genuinely appeared to enjoy the food but even if they hadn't, I doubt they would have said. Think it would have been pretty devastating to the kids who cooked it all otherwise and those desserts did look nice!!!

I think it all looked pretty nice to be honest. I doubt I could cook as well as that now, never mind when I was a kid and famed for "treating" my mum to all manner off odd food combinations for a "special" breakfast!!!

I'm sure she appreciated it!

I don't watch the programme myself but as you say all the food looked nice, I just prefer dessert!

How rude! Calling Karen "the companion". He referred to Matt as the Doctor - fair enough I suppose, it's his character's name - but Karen should've been referrred to as either Karen or Amy, not "the companion".

Brother was telling me that 20,000 people applied, so its pretty certain that these kids can definitely cook (to a good enough standard anyway)

that quite a lot of applications for the age group eligible really. I guess cooking must be more popular with kids that age than i gave them credit for....
