Problem with Orbit D900-2

I am experiencing a problem with this TV / DVB-T / DVD player:

Recently it has been refusing to respond to either the remote control, (tried a new battery), or any of the buttons on the device itself. That is except for the >II button on the right below the display. When you power up it goes straight into Freeview mode and all you can do is step up channels - no other functions work. I have also tried removing the main battery for a few hours. I think that the firmware may have got itself stuck, is there a combination of button presses whilst powering up to reset this?
