You are probably aware that Bernard Jewry, who recorded under the name Shane Fenton in the sixties and under the name Alvin Stardust in the seventies, has passed away at the age of 72 after a short illness.

RIP.

As a tribute here's a minor hit single by Shane Fenton:-

Shane Fenton and the Fentones - It's All Over Now (1962)

RIP indeed. Although that 'short illness' bit:
I posted in the TOTP thread just now about a recent appearance. Might be worth having a look, might not - it's speculation

This one's been niggling (not helped by typical Jamaican record label - band's name spelled wrong and no credits)
Just realised - 'Norwegian Wood' came out in 1965. It was pretty clearly nicked for this

Wasn't issued as a UK single, which is why it's not in the catalogue.

Let's all head Downtown because I Know A Place where we can do the Ya Ya Twist while listening to this artist, but don't stay too late and Don't Sleep In The Subway if you can't find your way home.

A very obscure track by Lulu. I'm not big fan of this artist, but I quite like this one:-
