Nice to have two of the previous decade's legendary artists, Fats Domino and Lonnie Donegan, so close to each other alphabetically. Their sixties non-hits and minor hits may be inferior to their major fifties hits, but they're still enjoyable to listen to.

There's a "divorce song" thread around at the moment. I mentioned this Burt Bacharach song on that thread and then did a search on this thread to see if it's been posted before - couldn't locate it, so here it is now:-

There have been a lot of great Psychedelic tracks posted on this thread over the last five and a half years years, so this thread seems a good place to let anyone interested know that on BBC-4 at 10pm this evening there's a documentary entitled "Psychedelic Britannia" looking at the British contribution to the genre.
This is followed at 11pm by a programme called "Psychedelic Rock at the BBC" featuring performances by Donovan, the Incredible String Band, the Moody Blues, Procol Harum, the Move, Joe Cocker and Julie Driscoll, Brian Auger and the Trinity among others. This in turn is followed at midnight by a documentary about the Beatles' "Magical Mystery Tour". |

Of course, my name may be JohnnyForget, but how did I forget about this band?
The time to hesitate is through. No time to to wallow in the mire. I actually like them a lot, but I understand why some would find them overrated. I won't mention their name, I don't want to spoil it for others, although most others will have also worked out who it is by now.
