yes it was a re-issue on the 'sue' record label sue wi 366. it didnt chart in '59 either.

That doesn't really surprise me. A lot of the fifties rock n roll singles now considered classics of the genre didn't chart either or were only minor hits.


Getting back to the sixties, one of the biggest selling singles of 1967 was "Something Stupid" by Frank and Nancy Sinatra. I found out earlier today, much to my amazement, that it is not the original version.
