Hello.
I've just found an old mix tape, with a lot of 60's songs. I've managed to identify most of them, but I'm still at a loss with these two. Apparently they were recorded from a 45 rpm single, and I suspect they are sung by the same female singer.
Does anyone know the names of these songs or the name of the singer?
Best, Pedro.
---------------------
All of my life I walked alone
Love was a word I'd never known
My world was dark and full of despair
'Til you came along and taught me to care
Chorus
Now I don't need anything, anyone,
As long as I have you
I don't need other arms, other lips,
Only yours will do
And I'm not afraid to face this world with you
In all this world, how did we meet?
But now you're here and my life's complete
You're all I need and nothing more
Yes, you're the one that I waited for
Chorus
+ Now I don't need anything, anyone, just as long as I have you
-----------------
Your eyes no longer show me love as they used to
My love is just as strong as it has always been for you
Chorus
You try your best to hide it but I know
It's goodbye, it was nice knowing you
So please keep in touch
Your kiss means nothing more than just a friendly kiss
Holding hands is just a habit, can't take much more of this
It was silly from the start, our love wasn't meant to be
I should have known that someone like you'd never stay by me
