So Rob's post gave us music by the wonderful Young Rascals and Randy's post gave us music by the just as wonderful Left Banke, and all on the same page. How lucky we are!

I like all the tracks in Randy's post, but Walk Away Renee (mentioned, but not featured) is by far my favourite track by this band. I really find it hard to believe that Michael Brown was only 16 years old when he wrote this beautiful song.
Most British people who know this song at all only know the UK hit cover by the Four Tops. That version's good, but the original version is absolutely exquisite. In fact, I like the latter so much that it took pride of place in the first post I ever made to this thread ...
