Was thinking of going to the gig at Thetford Forest because of this, but just don't know what to think of her??? I think she would probably be better live than on record...anyone seen her on her recent tour?

I definitely think the opposite, I think she'd be worse live because all the breathy-ness in her songs Sort of, covering up any real singing. Could be wrong though. Make sure to let us know!

Also, they couldn't have picked a more appropriate band for her to support Talk about match made in heaven!

I've nothing against the girl personally but I can't help but be a little resentful of the fact that I can't listen to the radio anymore for fear of being subjected to her warbling. (please, no more!)

It's not even that I'd like to stop others from listening to her, I'd just like to be able to avoid her.

By all accounts, Diana is brilliant live.

Her album was recorded prior to her stint in 'Little Voice'. Most have said that her voice is much more powerful and stronger now, as a result of the vocal training she received for her stage role.

Couple of Reviews of Live Gigs:

We were genuinely impressed by the strength and clarity of Vickers’ vocals. The training for her role in Little Voice on the West End clearly has helped her to strengthen and utilise her vocal chords. Throughout the set she sounded fantastic with more power in her voice then we had realised she had.

I'm just not feeling Diana Vickers anymore.

I think her new album is fairly good but it's not something I would play regularly. In fact I've only listened to it twice.
