That BB bosses are trying too hard to get ratings this year. I get this horrible feeling that this may turn out to be the worst series so far?.

Am I being stupid or does anyone else share my views?

We dont actually know WHAT they're trying yet - this is all rumour, hearsay and opinion.

I honestly don't think it can be the worst series to date - #4 was so unspeakably awful, that I don't think it could ever get any worse than that, whatever Endemol do.

The house looks good, the buzz about this one is good, the build up is exciting and the theme is a cracker. I can't wait! Last year, I was still excited by abou this time but a little voice at the back of my mind was whispering that it may just have become a tired format. Looks/sounds to me like they've had a serious think about it this year - the isolation from the ourside world and the constant surveillance isn't enough any more; people are used to that. Now they have to challenge them more, test their strength of character &c. I think this could be one of the best yet!

I am standing on the fence with my eyes wide open. Hypotehtically, I can't yet judge. It is within the realm of possibility that it could be the worst ever or it could be good.

I'm not too concerned about reality fatigue. The advantage BB or I'ma Celeb have over most of the other is that they are very unreal reality shows. Devising a new theme for a tried and tested format may be very clever. I'm optimistic but as ever the choice of HMs will be the key...both by them and by us

Absolutely Crimpo. Whatever they do, how ever much they change the rules it's always the HMs and more importantly the mix of HMs that will make or break the show.

I can only guess that a lot of people were conned during the selection process last year. Scott was the perfect example. Lovely guy. Outside the house a very entertaining bloke I've no doubt, on Big Brother an unmitigated disaster.
