Pete Waterman. Let's also get it to Number 1 in the UK charts. Download it from iTunes, Play, Amazon and HMV.

Good luck Josh. I have a feeling you are going to do well. Top 5 me thinks.

Beat Jade...

Mushy, it isn't going to surprise you that I like the song and support Josh's and Pete's efforts. The new mix of the track is super!

Hey, at least I am consistent.

Isn't it just

If somebody had told me that this song was originally the B-Side of Kylie Minogue's first single back in 1988 then I'd have believed them

I've just posted this on the main Eurovision thread:

"The UK entry was originally the B-Side of Kylie Minogue's first single back in 1988....true story"

Are You Serious,
With the quality of most of her songs, i can't believe she stooped so low.

Thank the lord it was just a B-Side though.

p.s how do you do that thing where you take my post and put it in yours in bold, I'm dumb,

He's just whining because everyone's pointing out how out of date the tune is. 20 years out of date.

Completely out of date, awful title and lyrics.

Its Pete Waterman and Mike Stock, say no more.

At least if/when Josh loses he can blame it on Pete and the awful song, everyone will believe him.

I'm agreeing with Mushymanrob, because there's no hope in hell Josh will win tonight. The UK song's been panned, and it's got the longest odds on winning.

I think we'll be lucky if the UK isn't at the bottom of the scoreboard, but I can't see him doing as well as Jade Ewen did last year.

No doubt if it performs badly, Miles will blame it on the political voting/Iraq war instead of how poor the song is. It's so forgettable- I can remember the winning entry from Norway last year, yet struggle to remember how our entry this year goes.

i've forgotten what the song sounds like and i plan to keep it that way.

Josh's entry doesn't sound good to me. It's worse than last year's, worse than the song people from the UK are singing for Cyprus, and worse than some of the songs that didn't qualify. If he was singing that for an Eastern block country it would receive the level of criticism it deserves from the media.

I expect us to finish in the bottom 5 tonight and we don't even deserve to be that high up.

Well Josh was just on and it was umm....ok.

But that song was just so bad.

The song should be called 'That Sounds Sh**e To Me' because thats what it is, sounded like a 1989 PWL reject record from the archives.

It was like going back 20 years, why can't Pete Waterman move with the times? Both productions of the song are so tacky and with lyrics - 'You Bring The Good Times' and 'Happy Ever After' ??? Whats that all about.

Does Josh actually like singing this song??

Bye Josh, good luck with your music career, your gonna need it after this.

Next year the BBC/Uk need to go back to having different acts with different songs. I mean the possibilites are endless

have 5 known writers (Cathy Dennis, Rad Davis, Gary Barlow, Remee) and 5 unknown singers
have 5 European acts (i.e Alcazar, Monrose,) sing songs they had written
have 1 known entity (Ducan from Blue, Alcazar, Kate Nash even) with 5 songs by mix on known and unknwons
have 5 UK known acts and 5 unknown writers
have 5 ex boy/girl band members

^^^ but whatever they choose they have to choose by end of January and do the promo tour as I believe that was a major factor in Jade's success last year.
