Did he really shag Kesha? Is that true? Well surely that makes him bi and not gay.

He is. If you look at his Twitter it's quite obvious, and I've heard it openly referred to on another R1 show.

He's gay.

I read an interview he did a while ago (Times, I think) and there was a question about finding the time for a boyfriend.

I think the person who had Ke$ha was Greg James. The other person it could have been was Reggie Yates though.

I don't know if Nick Grimshaw is gay or not. However, I'm a gay man who doesn't have any of the mannerisms you describe. Darn, I must be straight and not know it. Thanks for sorting that out for me.

NIck Grimshaw is one of those look at me i am so achingly cool and down with everything that is trendy types whether he is gay or not is irrelevant the fact he has no talent and is in the same boat as sarah cox voice wise as in smashing your head against a brick wall is more preferabe is the problem. Not as bad as Gemma Cairny though who sounds like a hyperactive kid let loose in a sweet shop with a face def fit for radio.

What does it really matter?

Type to stop judging people based on their behavioral stereotypes

I knew him a few years ago. He had a girlfriend at the time - they're no longer together. He was a bit 'different' back then as well but they were together for a good while. She was a nice girl, too. A friend of mine is still in regular contact with her.

Nick's broadcasting style isn't my cup of tea but he was nice bloke back then and hope he still is.

It's not. That's why the closet exists. It's not just there for flamboyant camp types.

Did you spot Frankie Ocean before he came out?

He kind of outed himself along with his mate, dear little Harry of 1D in a Radio One interview before they went to the US for their recent tour.

It was subtle...nicely done. Call and Delete on YouTube if ur interested.

I like Nick, I think he's a good guy.

Thought I would bump this up as I was having a browse at the Guardian features and saw this. Pretty much confirms he is gay.

It's a bit depressing that he's bumming Harry Styles.

Can someone explain to me how he knows everyone... I personally don't rate him as a Dj... but I don't get how he has so many famous friends.

Lol, if that's even true, I reckon it'd be the other way Harry strikes me as a top.

Can I just ask a question? I grew up in the 70s/80s hearing all the usual offensive euphemisms for gay men... Now that we're in 2012, an awful lot of men seem to expect wives/girlfriends to have anal sex (something that was certainly not on the table when I was a young flighty thing ) So my point is... shouldn't those euphemisms now apply pretty much to all guys? So if somebody says "drops anchor in poo bay" (to use one of those listed above), why would it even mean gay any more?

Oh, and in order to stay on topic (some militant types are around here today!!), I think that Nick Grimshaw is an irritating ****, regardless of where he prefers to stick his hoo-haa

Hmmm, are you good looking though? If you are, there is still a good chance you're gay.

If you're ugly - I'm afraid that means you're straight and therefore probably boring and frigid.

I didn't even know who Frankie Ocean was until he came out

Hopefully he'll set a precedent for other rising stars.
