Mind you, we've only actually seen the box since Rory went, not the ring itself!

Isn't the TARDIS inteerior outside space and time at least for the duration someone's in it? Rory has gone but the ring was protected by being outside time. I wouldn't be surprised if it still has it's part to play.

So for some reason the ring is taken outside the TARDIS and connects with the normal universe and creates a paradox things causing a big explosion, or something!!

OK, looks like my idea has caused more questions than it has resolved... Sorry all

We dont even know if it is the Tardis, it could be an ordinary phone box.

Or, regarding the ring, as someone said iin another thread (http://www.digitalspy.co.uk/forums/s...postcount=16):
Although we have the box of the ring in the TARDIS. It survived because of being in there.
But Rory, who bought it, never existed (at this moment), for which the box itself could be a paradox, maybe even the Pandorica.

According to the in-episode explanations, the ring is fine. There is a paradox, but as has been seen many times (and discussed on many threads), the influences of someone taken by the crack can still be seen - the crashed Byzantium, even though the Angel that caused it was swallowed by the crack; River Song being on the mission even though the original reason for it had disappeared, AND Father Octavian had been swallowed by the crack so there was no one to release her into their custody for the (now non-existant) mission.

There is no reason why the ring-box, or even the ring itself, should not still exist without causing problems, as this has been shown theroughout the episodes to do nothing...
