Don't think this has been posted before. Any Roisin Murphy fans out there feel free to discuss Murphy's songs, albums, gigs and news.
Anyway I've been listening to a lot of her songs lately, she's an absolutely brilliant singer and so underrated. Overpowered's an excellent album IMO, I could listen to it over and over and not get bored with it

I admit that I know Roisin's music better from her time in Moloko than solo. Sing It Back was a good danceable song while The Time Is Now is very relaxing and classy!

I absolutely love Roisin Murphy, I too could listen to Overpowered over and over; tracks like Movie Star, You Know Me Better and Primitive make it an incredible album

You Know Me Better is great, I think she had planned to release Movie Star as a single (there's a video for it on Youtube). Body Language and Parallel Lives are also good songs.

I love Roisin, she is extremely underated, Overpowered is a must on my playlist, am also a fan of her Moloko days especially Forever More and The Time is Now.

Wonder why she's so underrated when she's such a good singer? I've heard she gets compared to Lady Gaga a lot as well, don't know why, the two are different. Agree about Overpowered though, it is great! Has a fairly high playcount on my Ipod.

Might be on her third album, I found Orally Fixated to be a good song!

While on Youtube the other night I found two other great songs of Roisin's:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sRS1DCYs-1o - Never Enough (ft Boris Dlugosch)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mX4byTjcceU - Yellow Moon (ft The Revolution and Marius DeVries)

Both great songs, shame they weren't on her albums. Never Enough isn't bad, I think this is the original http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pmuEY...eature=related (the one ft Boris Dlugosch is a remix I think)
