I think he would have been quite good in the role, I liked him in survivors, he can certainly 'do' emotion, thats for sure.

Oh well, my next choice is Andy Serkis, I am wishing for the day that he becomes 12

Let me get this straight in my head. The Rory who was killed last week is the real Rory or the fake Rory?

I think most of the complicated plot ideas some have you have come up with won't actually be remotely true: simply because the show NEEDS to be as simple as possible for the younger audience to understand it.

Sad, but true.

If I'm honest, I'm confuzzled reading this thread: but maybe because I don't spend much time on here anymore - and I'm 16!

Btw: Genesis of the Daleks rules.

It's amazing how entertained you can be when pushing a button can destroy an all powerful Dalek Empire. It makes me cringe everytime it happens in an episode.

Well that's a bit of a bummer then! So what's the thing with the engagement ring? And why does Amy have to remember Rory?

I haven't posted any plot ideas I have posted genuine spoilers for the finale posted by reliable sources on GB.

OK then, spoilers. But I still think if these were to be true it would be pretty confusing for a, let's say, 9 year old ?

Just realised how personal that sounded, it was meant to be "how entertained we can all be"

I do hope he's right then so that we don't just get another fest of making it as big as possible for the sake of it. Hopefully Moffat also doesn't feel the need to up himself by x100 every year.

Series 1 - The End of the World (Daleks)
Series 2 - The End of the World Part 2 (Daleks & Cybermen)
Series 3 - The End of the World Part 3 (A Time Lord)
Series 4 - The End of Reality (A fully fledged Dalek Empire)
Specials - The End of Time itself (The Time Lords + Time War + Gallifrey crashing into Earth)

Personally, I would have feared for a Series 5 under Russel... what would have been in jeapody that's worse that Time?

( Post Below - I love the new Daleks too )

Yes well I guess thats a classic example of how one can hold an opinion that is the exact opposite of the majority of the audience, doesn't it? It's like I enjoy the new dalek design even if a lot of people don't. There is no right or wrong opinions just different ones.

No idea I'm afraid!
Spoiler
It does appear that it somehow does have something approaching a happy ending though.

Spoiler
I've no doubt at all it'll have a happy ending. Though for me the ending would see Amy Pond being left behind! But I won't hold my breath!

Thanks for the spoilers.

I actually love the new dalek design...it's close competition for the daleks in The Dalek Invasion of Earth.

It certainly does. It's an amazing story. I hope one day they can find a way to reference that story in modern 'who'. It would be a fitting end to it all (when the day comes) if the Doc goes back in time and makes his fourth incarnation touch those two wires together... That would need some great camera trickery but would be a great scene...

I can possibly see Amy being promised the return of Rory in The Big Bang, but at a far later date (i.e. end of Series 6). This would mean a rather happy exit for her, as even when she eventually leaves the TARDIS she will not be all teary eyed like Rose and Donna- don't get me wrong, I like the emotional exits, but I think it would be most ambitious to try a few new things....

- Amy can opt to leave to return to Rory in the future.
- There should be a companion with a sad and emotional ending, perhaps similar to Donna's but less sentimental than Rose's.
- There should be a brutal companion death we do not see coming. I don't mean blood, gore, loud score etc. I mean similar to Rory's death in Cold Blood but more shocking.

Moffat likes her so I can see her being the companion the entire time he's show runner. Unfortunately.

Still, he could love her beyond the universe but it is entirely dependent on when Karen Gillan wants to step down as well. Sooner or later she will decide to leave, and it is likely to be before Moffat resigns from his Showrunner tenure. I have a poster featuring David Tennant, Billie Piper, Freema Agyeman and Catherine Tate. I would really love something similar to go alongside it in 5 years or so time.
