Hi.
Can any one suggest where to get Travel insurance (to Turkey) to cover Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease and a recent hospital admission for pneumonia to be declared as well
for a O.A.P. for a holiday in a few months

Tried a few places Tsb.Saga.Age Concern etc
they don't want to know

or will there be little chance of getting any cover because it's a newly diagnosed condition and the recent hospital admission etc.
Thanks

I'm assuming you've put something like 'best travel insurer for pre existing conditions into Google?

I did and the first non sponsored link was this http://www.moneysupermarket.com/c/tr...al/conditions/

but have a look at the moneysavingexpert.com website, that usually has some hints and tips too.

Bear in mind, cover will be pricey though.

The British Lung Foundation do insurance;

Flying can be problematic with COPD; Oxygen levels are lower on aircraft than on the ground, so check with the Gp / Specialist first before booking.
