Took me about an hour to get to sleep because of distractions!!

^^I used to sleep in a lot, but since I've started exercising I've had more energy, and now that my son's out of school I have to be up reasonably early when he's up.

The weird thing is that I usually hate "Black Velvet", but Danielle made me like it. I think it's what made me really notice her--that and the way she carried herself.

The problem with my being American watching a British show is that I didn't know some of the pop songs. I didn't know "Just a Little Girl" or "Red" before I saw Danielle sing them. I've since looked up the original version of "Red" and hated it. Danielle's is much better. I've only heard a snippet of the original "Just a Little Girl" (ironically played over Danielle's intro in the top 20 episode of OTR), but from what I've heard, Danielle's is better as well.

I thought the guy who sang that was known worldwide I guess not

I wasn't too familiar with 'Just a little girl' either. I had heard it a few times, but not much, never been a fan of it. But I love Danielle's version

Editing to add that I didn't notice "Just a Little Girl" had been played over Danielle's intro until I read it somewhere after she had already sung the song on the second live show. It wasn't until I watched that intro again that I actually noticed the song, since I recognized it from when Danielle had sung it.

And as for Daniel Merriweather being internationally famous--all I know is that I had never heard of him until OTR.
