We're sharing a brain again, Tigg. Aside from what you said about Mambo (I loved it, but I was a fan from the beginning), I agree with absolutely everything you wrote.

Here are a two other notable group numbers I wanted to highlight because I think they exemplary of why Danielle stood out so much in the groups:

"You Can't Stop the Beat"--This is the song that first made me notice what a great dancer Danielle is. She's 100% in the moment the whole time, and she dances her socks off!

"I Can't Say No"--100% in character the whole time, even when the camera isn't focused on her. She always stood out in the group numbers, but this one is a classic example of why. She doesn't seem to care that much about the cameras--she gives it her all whether she's being focused on or not.

Can anyone tell me if they have printed their tickets at home for the show? Im confused as to what you do with them - do you have to take just the sheets of paper which you have printed the link for the tickets on, and do you need to take some form of ID? Plus I didn't buy them, my mum did on her card, but she isn't coming, just me and my friend going? So do I need to take card or what?

if you follow the link to the eticket there is a bar code on the piece of paper and they just scan that (don't need anything else) - not much of a memento but it works fine - I used the same thing for Wicked a week or two ago - no problems

Right - i have printed out the tickets, did that about a month or so ago, i have two tickets so two sheets of paper with barcodes on, all i am worried about is I didn't buy the tickets - my mum did on her card? So will I need to take it? Did you just take the sheets of paper then? Or do you need to take anything else? Sorry, never used print at home before - i clicked wrong button by accident haha!

Haven't posted here in ages but just wanted to stop by and say a MASSIVE THANKYOU! to all the peeps who recommended I go see Les Mis a while back. I almost went to see a different show but because loads of you on here said it was a must see I trusted that!

I saw it on tues and was completly blown away. I've seen Wicked and Sister Act but this was in a different league. The whole show was just pure perfection. Didn't even know Nick Jonas was playing Marius. And Samantha Barks from I'd Do Anything has just started as Eponine. She was amazing. Best thing I've ever seen in my entire like and I'll never forget Sam as Eponine, her performance was just out of this world. I was in row E in stalls and because the theatre is smaller than I expected it was so intimate. Have to say though when it got to the 'pretending' line I couldn't help but laugh. It's wierd hearing it sung right LOL.

Sounds like you had a really good time. I seen Wicked last week and thought it would have to be something spectacular to top it. So Les Mis is now on my very long list of shows I want to see.

If you could choose Danielle to cover any song (OTR performance style) what would it be and why?

My answer to my hard question - (hard as there are so many songs I would love to see her do as she is so fab !) I have always wanted to see the full performance of Black Velvet, I can imagine how amazing it would have been However, I would love to see Danielle do a song from West Side Story - such as 'Tonight', or 'Somewhere' I know this is a shared song with a male lead, but I would love to see her do something like that, I can imagine how amazing it would be!! I also think it would be fun to see her do a performance of 'You're the one that I Want' from Grease, again it is a shared song, but I think it would be incredibly fun as Danielle has a great comic side to her acting

Oooh, good question!

Well, while the show was still going on, I posted several times that I would love to see her perform "I'm In Love With a Wonderful Guy" from South Pacific, and also "Anything Goes". I think she would be awesome doing both of those. I think these are both great songs that would showcase Danielle's acting and movement.

Also, I wanted to add a little additional question to put a twist on this--which song or songs that one of the other girls performed on OTR would you like to see Danielle perform?

My answers to the second question would be "Cabaret" (done on OTR by Jessica), because I think Danielle would do that amazingly, and also "Reflection" (done by Sophie on OTR) because I noticed Danielle's group in Dorothy Farm sang this song and I would love to see her perform it. I think it would be a great acting song for her, and I think she could sing it really well.

Good one! My answer to your question Snoop, I also would love to see Danielle do 'Reflection', which Sophie sang in the Semi Finals. I think she would sing the song fantastically, and the lyrics have real depth, so she would be able to project her fab acting talent also. I think also 'Use Somebody' which Steph sang, just as I think she would sing it amazingly, and also act it fantastically too, as again the lyrics have depth Plus I love Kings of Leon Haha, and I think she does too from what I heard her say on the Radio One Interview

Good Question. Thats really hard, ive difficulty choosing 4 never mind 1.

I would love to here the full version of surprisingly On my Own (or Black velvet - probably without music like her audition, it gave me chills).
I love Danielle version of On my Own, even pretending goes by and its not that bad imo, except for the tiny part at the end of the ing. I have the original cast recording version and the pretending in it sounds weirder to me.

Outside that, Somewhere would be good and I would also like to here her sing, im not that girl from wicked, it tugs at the heartstrings a bit, its so full of longing I think Danielle would have quite a few people in tears if she song it. As Sheila said she does have a sadness about her and the wistfullness as proven by SOTR.

Who would you like to hear her duet with?

ETA: I thought Reflection would have been good for Danielle too. She brings alot of depth to songs. and supacalafagilisticexpalidocious- cant spell it, so its the mary poppins song, just because its silly and we all know how well danielle does silly and umbrella choreography

they don't ask for any ID or the card you just need the barcode. I know it feels really odd I felt the same way the first time I used print at home - but the "real tickets" whilst they look better to us are really just about the barcode too. All the venue want to do is to scan that and that tells them you are in they really don't care if it is on a piece of paper or a printed ticket - the scan recognises the sale of the seat

Once you get used to it it is much better cos you don't have to sweat over whether the tickets will show up on time

Imagine a duet with the Buble! That would be amazing, they could sing 'Cry Me a River' together, I bet that would be fab! Ahh haha! Yeah that would be amazing, Black Velvet without the music, would highlight her voice even more That audition she gave was amazing, so much power and emotion in her voice Yeah, I'm Not That Girl from Wicked would also be another good song for Danielle, she really gets to grips with the words. On My Own for me was amazing, she acted it fantastically while at the same time singing very well also, she showed so much emotion in that song. I think she would also be great singing 'I Dreamed A Dream' from Les Mis, again her vocal would be amazing and she would connect to the lyrics like she always does. There are so many things I would to hear and see her do as she is so fab

I think if it was up to us, Danielle would have at least 2 albums out by now, 1 for full versions of all OTR songs and 2nd album for all the songs we would like her to sing.
