Yes. Since IDA ended, Sam has played Sally Bowles in the UK tour of Cabaret and will soon be playing Eponine in Les Mis in the West End. She seems to have come a long way since IDA.

It was funny about those two versions of "When You Believe". They were very similar arrangements and sort of similar staging, but I thought Danielle's version worked a lot better than Sam's. Danielle brought so much depth to the song. It's now my favorite version that I've heard.

Am rewatching the final again and finding myself just sat here grinning all the way through, its so good knowing that Danielle is going to win at the end, aaaah so happy

I think I might go and watch the series back to see little things that I missed. To be honest, the first couple of weeks I didn't even notice Danielle, I was championing Stephanie Then I started to see her as not Dorothy-like, so enter Danielle as my favourite and then I couldn't stop watching her!

Did anyone else LOL at Andrew becoming a mini poet, "we just went straight over and straight through, like we always do" and andrew thinking that just because he has a scottish outfit it proves he is half scottish.

I never liked Stephanie that much, couldn't understand why she was a favourote, she has a nice voice, but like, so. A lot of people on these show do too. I'm interested in seeing someone who can make the song believable as a MT song. Like Danielle did with Red. After that I was hooked. Also I kind of liked the way she spoke really really fast nonsense whenever she was asked a question, like she was so nervous..... I thought, "aww poor thing." She seems to have relaxed a bit more now, thank god.

Look back at the first performence, after chat with her and Amy and you'll see what I'm talking about. The expression on the other Dot's faces are priceless, when Danielle is speaking.

Well Sheila really did have everyone goooweeeeen. She's really funny. especilay when she got confused that one time, and totaly dismissed, Jessica, or rather "Steph" as she called her, and went right on to talk to Danielle and give her advice about the camera. I agree 100% on both of these points. I love the way Danielle acts her songs. It doesn't look like acting--it's always completely believable.

Also, I've also picked up on the little things that Danielle does at times that seem to be nervous habits. I think it's because I'm a fellow introvert, and do a lot of the same things--the fast-talking, the nervous laughter, the lowering the eyes at complements, etc. She definitely seemed to get a bit more comfortable as the show went on, though. That's fairly par for the course as introverts go, as well. Unfamiliar environments take some time to warm up to, but once you're used to it, it's a lot easier to relax and be yourself.

Thanks Lemming. In the heights soundtrack is really good, your certainly exposed to new things when watching these kinds of shows.
