Eleventh Doctor Costume
Good Wolf

I'm going to a fancy dress party in a few months and really want to go as the eleventh Doctor. I've got the tweed jacket, trousers, boots and bow tie already but was wondering if anyone has come across a shirt that looks similar to the Doctors? I remember someone saying, on Confidential, that it's a one off designer shirt, or something like that, so I know I can't get exactly the same, but something that looks similar would be great.

Also, I'll need a floppy haired wig, anyone got any suggestions where I can look please?

I would look in charity shops for the shirt or try a vintage clothing store.

As for the wig try this site. You could get one like the Beatles cut and trim it a bit

You'll also need a comedy massive jaw

And if at the last minute you can't pull it off, I'll lend you a very long multi coloured scarf. The lazy sod's instant-Doctor kit.

(My mum knitted it in secret for me. I was the envy of the playground. It got pulled to about twice original length because I'd be forever having to lower it as a rope so Harry and Sarah Jane (actually David and Andy depending on who lost the toss) could escape the Daleks. I would, of course, take my turn in not being the Doctor every now and then.)

If you're in luck the original owner will have had another one made and you can nick it off him. Try hanging around village hospital changing rooms.

Have a good time at the party. Don't forget your sonic.

This is a good little page:

The previously linked website also mentions the Paul Smith shirt, this is unfortunately out of stock, but recommends alternatives.

I googled Robbie Rotten and was presented by my greatest fear, Lazy Town. Bad times.
