It will be interesting to see how many of these matches will have a reporter present from both of our sports-based national radio stations.
If I remember rightly, Radio 5 Live had a reporter at every match that mattered on the final day of the League One and Two season last year. However this kind of service is less likely to be possible this year, as the final knockings of the Championship take place on the same day rather than on the Sunday as was the case in 2010, and there is also the small matter of a full programme of Premier League games too. I'd be seriously impressed if they have a presence at ten or more games from the lower leagues on Saturday given their other commitments.
If I was running talkSPORT, I'd perhaps take less of a focus on the Championship - only the matches involving Leeds and Forest really need to be covered in terms of play-off implications - and, at the very least, have reporters at St Mary's, London Road, Underhill, Sincil Bank, the New Meadow and Adams Park.
You'd think talkSPORT are in a more advantageous position when it comes to coverage seeing as they do Around the Grounds rather than commentary between 12-5pm on Saturdays, but then they only tend to have between 12 to 15 reporters across all sporting events over the course of any single day. Once you factor in the six Premier League games they'll be covering, and at at least two in the Championship, you're looking at about four to seven lower leagues games being covered in terms of match reports.
