Welcome to the forum, jimmylad.
Are you sure you heard that correctly? It's not something I've heard anyone say on-air and even so I'm not sure how that can be the case - they definitely have two games in their usual slots, but I don't see what a third game could be.
I know there are two Sunday 3pm games (Liverpool v Albion and Sunderland v Manchester City), but I believe the terms of the contracts state that all Sunday games kicking off at 3pm or later come under 5 Live's jurisdiction.
According to the talkSPORT Predictor (which lists all live talkSPORT games as correct predictions on those ones count for double points), their commentary games next weekend will be Manchester United v West Ham (Saturday 5.30pm) and Bolton v Birmingham City (Sunday 1.30pm).
It's been said on-air a few times this evening that Sam Matterface and Stan Collymore will be doing the commentary on this game for talkSPORT.
This opposes what we heard earlier in the week, where Nigel Pearson mentioned in his blog that he'd be doing commentary in the absence of Sam.
Seeing as Sam seems to be working out his notice at Sky Sports News and has been presenting his last few shifts on there over the past few days, I'm guessing what may have happened is that he was initially down to work for them on Sunday morning/lunchtime (as he did last weekend) but has somehow gotten out of this, enabling him to do talkSPORT's first exclusive Sunday 1.30pm Premier League commentary.
