What festivals are you going to?
I'm going to Download next week which I am very excited about, and Sonisphere later in the summer, so I was wondering what other festivals people are going to, and who they were looking forward to most?

I'm going to Download and it will be my first time at a festival. Can't say I'm a huge metalhead but I'm really looking forward to it.
I'm also considering going to Infest at the end of August. |

V fest!!!! 4th year & I love it! I know people moan that it has become commercial and not a proper 'festival' but I go with the same group of mates and we have a brilliant weekend everytime!!!

Latitude. First time I won't be going to Reading for about 5 years, which I regretted upon seeing the line-up.

going to Latitude for the first time. Also going to Glastonbury. I haven't planned on what bands I'm going to see yet, just going to take in the whole experience as I'm there.

I'm off to Latitude as well, will be the 3rd year I've been and it's always great. After going to Glastonbury several times years ago it's just so much better to go to a festival that only sells about 20,000 tickets.
Top bands this year include The National, Empire of the Sun, Wild Beasts, Richard Hawley, School of Seven Bells, Yeasayer, Frightened Rabbit, The XX, Noah and the Whale, The Horrors, Crystal Castles, Belle and Sebastian, James, Vampire Weekend, Midlake, The Temper Trap, Rodrigo y Gabriela, Mumford & Sons, Jonsi, The Antlers, Kristen Hersh and Charlotte Gainsbourg (and they're just the ones I know I want to see, plenty of others playing as well!) |
