At this moment in time, the current X-Tina/Gaga debate about "copying" is perfectly relevant to this thread. I don't think there is any big deal about people talking about Gaga copying Madonna, and referencing it back to the X-Tina situation. When Gaga fans did the same on the NMT video, I don't think any X-Tina fans ran around reporting Gaga fans for daring to call X-Tina a copycat. Unfortunately, it's a hot topic in pop right now.

The opinion of the actual song being Madonna-lite is all my own. I haven't seen any other "X-Tina" fans on here make that claim, though I've seen it made by others on the internet. So I guess I'm speaking for myself on that front, not all "X-tina fans".

It's so funny how much double standards Xtina fans have. You can criticise other singers as much as you like but jump down the throats of others who criticise Xtina. You can generalise a whole collective of fans but nobody can generalise Xtina fans.

I think you kind of asked for it it, when you used my individual opinion on the Alejandro being like a Madonna song (I'm the only one who said it), to have a go at all "X-Tina fans". You should have just had a go a me, individually.

The way you went about it, made it seem like you were looking for revenge on "X-Tina fans" after Leona fans got called out for their behavior last week. And I know for a fact you called X-Tina fans the worst around, so I'm pretty sure you were at least a little stung. It just came off as a transparent attempt at revenge for what was said about Leona fans.

This thread has become so pathetic certain posters trying to start fan wars whilst trying to implicate others. The funny thing is Eth has no form in starting arguments and fan wars but the one accusing him has plenty of form.

Back to the song and video at hand, I've always thought the song sounded like an Ace of Base track I didn't actually associate it with Madonna until it was mentioned in this thread! We'll have to wait to see the full video before we pass judgement but I have a feeling that when the general public pass their final verdict I have a feeling they'll be far more favourable to Alejandro than NMT!!!
