I just split my water We don't care if your parents are artists. Stupid pretentious woman.

Don't know what she was thinking when she said that Leonardo had done hundreds of paintings, there's no more than 30 known works.

You may not, but artists do care, because they know that she'll understand what they are trying to do. She was absolutely right to mention it. And they won because of her.

Sorry old bean, but that is how the art world works. It's not about you

The others were useless, apart from clever little Argan, the short dark horse. He's excellent!

She comes across as unlikable but they would have been thrashed without her. You suspect she is going to do well out of this even if she doesn't win.

I expect to see in the final but Sugar does always seem to give the win to the underdog who gets there.

I'm not commenting on her as a person but I think Zoe would be absolute hell to work with. She seems like a bully to me; if someone doesn't agree with her she looks at them really nastily like they are stupid. Am glad no one else went from that team this week as it would be even worse working with her with nobody else's support. I felt sorry for Arjun and Emma when she was sulking as they all walked out of the boardroom. It was hardly a shock what they said about her, they were saying it all the way through the task!

They wouldn't have been thrashed without her! They won because they got Tom and either Emma or Arjun would also have done better than Kirsty at the "schmoozing". Also Arjun alone sold more than the whole other team put together!

Exactly, he was quietly working away rather than pushing his way into everything.

she comes across as one spoilt little brat, the faces she pulls a 5 year old would be proud.

I actually used to like her but now she just annoys the hell out of me... I didn't like her butting in and I found it really annoying when she said "I was only answering questions that the other 2 couldn't answer" If I was in that boardroom I definitely would have responded to that!!!!..... but now I really think Arjun should win... he is the only one so far imo that hasn't said or done anything stupid and remains likable .... although I like Kirstie cos she was hilarious in this task you could see she didn't give a damn.... it was brilliant Tv

Zoe often reminds me of "Irish Jenny" off series 4 (she of the "best saleswoman in Europe" fame )
Jenny had the whole ice-queen red lippy power dressing thing going on, and wasn't too modest about her abilities either.
But when she came onto the "You're fired" program, she obviously had been watching her performance and had completely changed her image - she seemed quite lovely in fact.
I hope Zoe can take on board some of the critiscisms against her (quite valid ones tonight - she really seems to be a team of one); else, as posted above, she is going to be a complete nightmare to work with and won't be anywere near as successful as she obviously could be.
Touble is Lord Suralun isn't the best example of an inspirational boss - thats where Branson would triumph, though I guess that wouldn't make such good telly.

Spot on!! The memory of some of you, it scares me..

Zoe is probably a lovely person, i can imagine her being a fun friend but as a saleswoman or team mate she is an intimidating prospect!

At the mention of Jennifer Maguire, she does have a TV career as well as a business one over in Dublin

Decide for yourself if that sounds Zoe-ish

Yeah Zoe is a bit full of herself, but it's 1) The Apprentice and 2) she's 16. Rocky got to 22 before he has experience of anyone questioning him. And I remember Claire Young butting into negotiations really really badly. Saira Khan so endeared herself to artists by asking them what their favourite colour was. Zoe had an ace up her sleeve and so played it with every artist and buyer. Stupid not to if you want the business.

Hmmm interesting, I don;t think Zoe is a nasty person you know, she is getting filmed all the time on the tasks, and it;s easy just to show those "eyebrow" moments, BUT they are never able to show her in any REAL controversial slagging matches. She is miles ahead on points at the moment folks......

When a team of 3 splits into two...you are going to end up with one team of one!

Obvious, but people have missed that. Zoe brought in the artist that sold the most on her own. In the circumstances she is going to take that confidence (and methods) into the sales day and highlight it in the boardroom. It's a competition, she's pushing herself but not undermining the others negatively. To win as a team, everyone must do their best. Not just rely on the PM and following blindly. Cos that way lies Pantsman or Ben Clarke's stint as PM

Did my ears deceive me or did Zoe say that Jackson Pollack knocks out paintings every night - the Jackson Pollack who has been dead for over 50 years?

My dad was an executive with the Midland Bank... my mum was an artist... therefore I am an executive artist? Is this how the logic goes?

He was a bit manic, when he was alive Ed Harris made a great film on Jackson Pollack btw with him playing Pollack.

She was making the valid point (though over stressing it) that rarity isn't the only guide to value. Artists may make an original and create prints from it. Those prints will have a finite run and be numbered on the back eg 26 of 100.

Really not liking Zoe and her faces/attitude.. BUT in response to OP, she was 100% right to keep mentioning it to the artists. Imagine if you are one of these artists told you have got a bunch of 16/17 year olds coming to see you and they are going to show your work then imagine when one of them turns up looks as old as Zoe and has that family background and knowledge of art...No brainer. As soon as she said her parents were artists and had been to loads of art exhibitions etc the task as a contest was over really, what other 16/17 year olds will have a clue (as we saw)

The thing that annoys me about Zoe is that she talks in cliche's that she's heard on previous episodes of the apprentice.

It sounds so fake

I agree her voice is also wearing. Condescending and pretentious.

... pretty much everything. Overbearing attitude, inability to hold her hand up and say "Yeah, fair enough. Maybe I was a bit less than perfect", the drivel she speaks, the clown makeup, bizarre haircut, odd clothes and the unshaking belief that everyone thinks she's brilliant.

She won't win. The up-their-own-backside ones never do.
