Is it wrong to dislike any of the Juniors?

It's so easy to get into the Apprentice like/hate game but you have to remind yourself they are just kids. I hope none of them are affected by any adverse criticism they might get as a result of the show

If I'd appeared on TV at 16 I'm sure I'd have been slated!

They are doing it voluntarily and I'm sure even the most head-in-the-sand would have an idea of how vicious the media and idiots like us who waste precious minutes (in some cases, hours, days and weeks) of our lives on internet forums can be.

You need a thick skin in business, so I guess it's as good a place as any to discover if you have that quality.

And never forget that opinions are, of course, only that. What does it matter what you or I think of them? Answer - it doesn't.

Why should anyone have to like them because they're young, though? They're not small children; some of them are only a few months away from being adults and they could join the army right now.

I'm enjoying this series and I don't hate any of them but if others do then so what really... maybe they are also young too.

Wasn't that fit Yorkshire one from a few years back (Alex?) only 18?
I personally can't bring myself to dislike any of them though Zoe does kind of remind me of a bully from school... I think she will soften with age though hopefully.

No doubt they themselves are all Apprentice fans/addicts and have posted many a comment on forums like this . They probably love it! I wouldn't have been on a show like this when I was their age because I wouldn't have wanted the attention.
Not that I would have any trouble (if i had wanted the attention) getting selected from thousands of applicants and being among the top 10 young business brains in the country LOL

Of course, I hate them all. We're supposed to aren't we?

I dislike Tim (guy with the messed-up teeth and hair), and that 'Hannah' bird.

(and I'd hardly call them two 'juniors')

It's not like they're four year olds, I think it's perfectly fine to dislike them. Just because they're of a certain age it doesn't mean you have to like them! Even though I've seen all the episodes, I don't think it's enough time for me to personally 'dislike' anyone, although with that said I've found Jordan, Zoe, Hibah and Hannah really annoying

I can't take to any of them apart from slightly liking Emma. I cannot believe they picked this bunch from 28,000 . Give me the real Apprentice show any day.

Apart from Arjun and possibly Kirsty I find the rest precocious brats. Thank God I didn't spawn them; if I had they wouldn't be here trying to sell cheese, cupcakes, art or anything else - I'd have strangled them at birth.

Do you mean Alex Wotherspoon?
Alex was 24. He mentioned it in passing.
And from Bolton.

A lot of people watching really disliked him. Personally I didn't.

Good well timed thread this as there is so much sniping at many of them on the JA. Forums are one thing but journalists seem to be unable to tell the difference between 16-17 yrs and late 20 somethings. Or just lazy

Nah. I'm about the same age as the candidates and once you're mid/late teens I reckon you're old enough to know what you're letting yourself in for if you go on telly.

Same, I didn't like either of those or Kirsty. Although, I am only 18 myself, so don't really see them all as 'juniors'

If you're only enough to get married - and thus be loved - you're old enough to be hated.

And stop bullying Tim! He wears Jon Snow socks, and clearly has some sort of rapid ageing disease.

PS. I would happily crap in Zoe's sandwiches when she wasn't looking and feel no remorse.

I suspect some of the contestants may have had very little idea how they would come across/be edited on the show. I strongly suspect, particularly, that Zoe has never seen herself remotely in the way that many people on internet forums/facebook/twitter obviously do.

(That said, I noticed tonight that Zoe had joined a couple of her own hate groups on facebook and was posting "lol" at a number of comments slagging her off. So she might be more relaxed about the harsh comments than one would imagine)

Ah, the old "If I take the mickey out of myself, that'll be what other people don't expect and so they might hopefully lay into me a little less" ploy.

Brings back a few memories. I did that for years at school (many moons ago, now). Then I got older, matured and understood that opinions are just that, everybody has them, and they don't matter a flying fcuk unless you let them.

Personally I can't bear the girl, but it's her that's taking the BBC appearence fee and potentially boosting her future career by putting herself on national TV and having half the country talking about her.

So good for her - what I or any other of the squiliions of slightly pathetic keyboards warriors in this or any part of cyberspace thinks of her doesn't matter in the slightest - she's the one who's been brave enough to get up there and do it, not us lot safely hidden behind the anonymity of our keyboards.

BBC appearance fee?

I've never heard of such a thing for apprentice. I know Big Brother contestants get a small allowance to cover their rent/housing costs whilst in the house, and that might apply to grown up apprentice. But Junior apprentice? If it exists it could only be a few quid to cover a week or twos loss of paper-round money

How many of us were perfect at 16/17?

I say well done to all of them, They will all have learned a lot and will no doubt be better for the experience.
