Copy protection
It seems that copy-protection (e.g. as applied on certain Sky programmes) doesn't prevent recording when using the TT+ PVR box but does prevent recording to a generic HDD recorder.
Is this justifiable or is it just a ploy to get people to invest in more TT services? I found this recently when my regular recordings of Lost started to hit problems towards the end of season 6. Previously, I'd had no problems. It seems that Sky suddenly started to apply copy-protection when previously they hadn't. (Ref: http://www.talktalk.co.uk/forums/sho...=1#post2335399) |

I see there's now another thread on the TTV forum on this subject:
http://www.talktalk.co.uk/forums/sho...d.php?t=176565 Not sure why they refuse to answer such a simple question. |
