He's quite good for his age, but not that entertaining.

Drummers should not really be noticed

I agree with you & others.

He sure has tallent, but would the Queen really want to watch that as the best we can come up with ?

He banged the drums (very well) thats all

I tried drumming at school could never really get the basic beat so I tell people off all the time for thinking drumings "easy" my gran said anyone could hit a drum (well they could but try simple 3-d coordination for that basic beat let alone the things drummers actually do...), joey roester junior is faster, much more diverse in druming and is able to exert great control of the volume of his hits and also keep a beat but layer it several times over, this boy is 1 dimensional and probably only a bit better than your average person who can actually play the drums. Hes 13 and he does not show some sort of super skill at least thats been my impresion of his drumming.

Did anyone explain why he was drumming on a platform at a 45 degree angle? Was it to distract from how boring the act was?

You are not alone.........flippin boring to watch:yawn:

People who think Kieron's drumming is entertaining need to get out more.

Yes I think you've hit the nail on the head.

I didn't even think last night's was as technical as his first audition.

I do think he's got good drumming skills, and respect him for trying again this year, but last night was just "meh" for a viewer

it was shit.

certainly talented but as an act it just doesn't work.

the whole platform thing felt gimmicky and just came across as "my act isn't good enough on it's own"

that said, i think he could actually win

I felt like it was watching "The Emperor's New Clothes", the audience screaming, the judges absolutely raving, especially Amanda, who was scarlet-faced with joy at the lad getting through.

I just don't get it......is it me???

was gonna post another long winded reply but there is no point.
Will just back up my previous point that people have done nothing but moan moan moan about every single act that has had a go and then leave you grumpy people to NOT enjoy the show you all seem so intent on watching even with the complaints.

I think some people just like to moan.

Because you didn’t like the act doesn’t mean you are automatically a grumpy old man – although you might be for all I know!

Technically and musically the lad is good and the tilting rostrum made his job even harder. There is no doubt that he has a lot more talent than most. But he is a speciality act and not going to be to everybody’s taste.

There have been hugely successful solo drummer acts over the years; perhaps Sandy Nelson was the most famous.

The staging of the act was amazing, I have never seen that done before. I couldn’t believe it when they started to fly the boy and the drum kit and when it started to tilt I thought the effect had gone wrong at first. But that it one of the secrets of BGT, the stupendous production values make the acts look better than they actually are. I wonder if Simon Cowell has had to buy the National Grid to power the lighting rig.

It will be fascinating to see how the production team top what they have achieved so far in tonight’s final.

The act was utter tripe IMO. I love rock music but wouldn't consider going to see a drummer from my favourite band play on his own, with or without a very loud backing track.

They are giving this kid false hope that he has any chance to make it on his own with this act.

Solo drumming is boring - whats the point? Kieron is very good at what he did its just not very interesting.

Because he was robbed last year (well I think so anyway) I think the powers that be have intentionally doubled his chances this year.
The kid's pretty good and he seems likeable enough but his act is really not my thing. If he had a good band with him he could really go places but I can't see him being anything other than a session musician later on as it's doubtful anyone would pay to watch a solo drummer.

She's got plenty of drummers in the guards.
