I'm sorry but 1 drummer doesn't make a concert.

Maybe I'm missing the point a bit but.. Drumming along to a CD, to me anyway, isn't exactly entertaining.

..And what was that little dance about at the end?

I've seen better drumming from a 5 year old on a wii drum kit...Connected have been the best so far...

I agree to a certain extent. Connected didn't harmonise very well, but there is potential.

It it any worse than just singing along to a CD, like most of the acts on of these type of shows do?

Yes - because you're just creating the beat for which people should sing to...?

A drummer is the backbone to a band he goes with the bass player & makes a perfect rhythm section, so why is Mr Blonde so against drummers ? the rhythm section is everything to a band & i am wondering why Mr Blonde is bringing drummers down ?

I just don't get a drummer without a band. How many famous drummers are soloists??? There is a reason for this - omtheir own they are boring after a while, great in a band but not meant to be solo.

I agree you can't go solo but You can work without being in a permanent band you can be a session musician for instance, going to a studio & putting tracks down for whoever, i know a few musicians that do it not just drummers, Bass, Lead, Keyboard & even backing singers do it so you don't necesserily need to be in a band.

That whole I came up with the floating in the air drumming bit is bull crap... it was on BBC2s "Im in a Rock n Roll Band" 2 weeks ago.

You obviously don't appreciate a good musician. His timing was immaculate. That takes some stamina to keep that pace up. I much, much preferred this performance of his to last night's because he wasn't constantly battling against an overpowering background track.

Well done Kieran!

Yes. It does get boring after a while. Anyway, Kieran's got a fantastic talent there. I was completely engrossed when watching and listening to him on the drums.

No. Cowell said it was Kieran's idea to do the floating stunt. I didn't hear Kieran state that he was the first to try this.

And was no doubt done before that too. I think you're missing the point. I very much doubt his comment was meant to be taken that he invented the idea. I took it simply as meaning it was his idea for him to add it to his own performance.
