If they wore more floaty costumes, we'd see their dance moves more. The solution found in So You Think You Can Dance was to have the men's shirts unbuttoned and falling off, but that looked distinctly untidy.

I think I'd prefer to see both male and female dancers in bright colours, spangles and swirly dresses or at least the Greek skirts worn by the traditional guards in Syntagma Square in Athens. But probably cuban heeled boots rather than sandals.
