I'm a big fan of 50's Rock'n'Roll, so I love the 1956 film "The Girl Can't Help It". Ironically, my favourite song in that film is not Rock'n'Roll at all, but this Jazz classic from Julie London:-

My first ones are some 1930s Billie Holiday, when she was the vocalist with the Teddy Wilson Orchestra...........

They were a tight little band.........they rocked !

Ella Fitzgerald...........where to start !

This is one of my favourites, a slow, soulful version of 'Bewitched, Bothered and Bewildered'..........with a terrific 'tinkly piano' accompaniment, probably Oscar Peterson.

Bewitched, Bothered and Bewildered - gorgeous song, gorgeous rendition! Nobody can sing Rodgers and Hart like Ella. This is her exquisite rendition of "My Funny Valentine":-
