To be honest, Crius' whispering voice was irritating me more and more each episode. He seemed to get quieter as the series progressed. Far from being menacing, it was laughable, reminded me of that other thug, Phil Mitchell.

If PickTV are showing the first series of Blood and Sand (with Andy Whitfield as Spartacus) then I say go for it - however, the first episode is pretty poor, so don't judge it based on that. It takes 3 or 4 episodes to get going and then starts to get really good.
