Most spend half their time taking pictures on their phone so they can and post it on facebook - shame this generation dont know how to dance to the music. Then again, I wont call the rubbish being played now music. So maybe they have nothing worth dancing to .

Well lets campaign to get peer to peer closed down, and privacy eradicated, and music can flourish once again! If every 2nd customer stole from Tesco you would expect a drop in profits and a decline in quality

It depends what club you go to. Most places I go to people are there to have fun. They're never too serious. The worse thing people can do is be serious on a night out; just enjoy yourself!

You always get some posers in clubs who just stand there not enjoying themselves or taking pics just to put them on facebook. But I find that most people go out and enjoy themselves. When I go clubbing I drink loads dance loads and take loads of pics, because it's fun to look back at them especially if you can't remember most of the night!

I've never been to a night club and I never want to, I would hate it. In fact I never go out at all - I just listen to music by myself in my room.

I guess I'm far from what you might call a normal 21-year-old.

I go to clubs to have fun, meet new people, and let off some stress. Its such a great way to express yourself. Though I do look good going out to the clubs though

When I go raving I usually end up a horrendous sweating, gurning, quivering mess with just two manga eyes poking out from under a manky sweaty hoody. Cool I am not, but Ive usually just spent a good few hours dancing my heart out to incredible tunes in an incredible atmosphere so I dont really give a shit....

'clubbing' thats not raving is just a pub for people with no converstional skills

I like going out and I like night clubs.

But I hate the way the clubs only play chart music.

I love 80's and classic songs not just the rubbish except for some exceptions in the charts.

Well i love house music and the best place to enjoy this is obviously in a club. The atmosphere is fantastic, everyone's dancing and yes, everyone's made an effort to look great too. There's no beer boys or chavs at the clubs i go to as they wouldn't get in. I've had many amazing nights out clubbing and intend to have many more (i'm 29 and have been clubbing since I was 15).

Well, I like going for a night out, only go once a month,m VERY occasionally twice. And I like to listen to music at home. I don't take pictures though, I have no camera and an old phone.

The only decent nights in Brum are at the Custard Factory or The Rainbow. Subway City and Gatecrasher are full of children.

I don't see how people can class nightclubs like Oceana, Time/Envy et al in the same league as places such as Fabric, Razzmatazz, Space and Ministry of Sound - these are nightclubs.

I also get really irked by people who claim that "music these days is just noise". No - you're just old. Music has come along way since The Beatles, come to terms with it.
